After retiring from the Army in 2013, Nick chose to reside in North San Diego County. He served honorably for over 22 years with his final 4 years having the opportunity to lead and mentor soldiers as their First Sergeant. Nick continues to support his fellow veterans and enjoys giving back to the military community.
